Michael brings to life the artists and their music from past music eras by using a unique ability to sing in the vocal styles of the original artists.  He has had a long history of vocal singing including both lead and background vocals on multiple recording projects in the studio and in various choirs, groups, and bands.

Michael has been playing the guitar for close to forty-five years and has experience playing in many different styles of music.  His years of performing and work as a studio musician makes him an accomplished player.  He also plays electric guitar, bass guitar and keyboards.  Michael is a songwriter as well.

About Michael

Michael is originally from Buxton, North Dakota.  It was there that Michael first learned how to play the guitar.  While attending Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota he gained valuable experience in live performance.  Shortly after graduating Michael travelled to Miami, Florida and spent a year and a half playing and singing in a band doing live shows.  After relocating to Minnesota Michael spent two more years in a band before moving back to Moorhead to be a part of Doely Jones Music Productions where he wrote, arranged, performed and engineered music for clients.  Over the past twenty-five years to the present day, Michael has continued to perform in various groups and individually as a guitarist/singer.

With guitar and singing Michael loves spreading joy and smiles to audiences through music, communication and audience interaction.  He specializes in the classic country music of the 50's, 60's and 70's singing hits in the styles of Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Willie Nelson and other legends.  Other available shows include the standards of pop, rock, folk and gospel where you will hear the songs of Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Peter, Paul and Mary and beloved hymn and gospel favorites.  Michael has been performing live for 40+ years and has performed at churches, nursing homes, retirement communities, conventions and various other events.  If you enjoy a walk down memory lane, let Michael and his music transport you to a place where you can clap your hands, tap your toes and sing along to songs we all know and love.
